Welcome to Ilumelan!

Ilumelan, a now established world and the only viable form of life in a small solar system on the outskirts of the Astral Plane with a rather interesting history. The close Astral Dominion, Ilume, managed to colonize this planet successfully after one failed attempt and a demon uprising. This flourishing, still relatively new, astral colony, managed to build a foundation in a wild world with the help of the celestial beings and support from political entities on the Astral Dominion. Fully cut off at around 16 SC (Second Colonization), the colonists on the new world of Ilumelan managed to kick off this world, surviving off the land, developing countries, drawing boundaries, and setting down roots. The only contact they have had with Ilume since the cut-off has been the worship of and occasionally miraculous magic from the Pantheon of Celestials on Ilume, who managed to elevate to godly status through their followers garnering worship and establishing a church on this material plane. Through the foundations set by the colonists, a pantheon of gods has risen and is the foundation of many countries’ worship.

Let’s zoom in now, in the midst of this Early Era of Ilumelan’s development. The land, in a giant pangea, with miles of open, rarely explored seas; where monsters still roam the world, unbeholden to the boundaries drawn by so-called political figures, and the Guilds are attempting to work to maintain the peace. A world where the resources and land you hold matter, and the connections you make matter even more. A world where wild magic roams unfiltered, where those who control the land, control the resources, which matters, and the power you hold to keep the peace matters even more. And most of all, a world where one misstep, one unbalance of power is enough to send countries into chaos and destruction…

Several of these Mini-campaigns have already been playtested and ran on Zari’s Twitch Channel, and uploaded to Youtube! Feel free to check them out, but beware of spoilers. However, there is no right answer, path, or approach - different player characters will have different stories and outcomes.
